I just found out that I got the highest mark in my seminar on our final essay, and the second highest mark for participation. Very exciting! Especially since participation is not my strong point. In fact that's what brought my acting mark down. Ah well.

The past few days have been family filled. (Both my own, and someone else's). My aunt, uncle and cousins came to visit on Friday for a quick campus tour and some dinner. It was so great that they could come down. Jess and Tama came our for dinner with us and were seranaded by my three year old cousin on the way back. It was all quite enjoyable.

Saturday I went to Jess' family's Easter celebration. For years I've been hearing about Janzen-fam events and I finally got to go to one! All of Jess' cousins work at the camp that we go to, so I knew everyone there. It was fun to meet all of the parents that I hear so many stories about. And of course all of the menno desserts are fabulous. There's one called Pasca (sp?) that I bit into and was hit with a familiar taste. Turns out its egg bread with icing, exactly like challah. So there you go, the Menno-Jew connection is not so far off.

I'm spending today reading Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, as well as studying the rest of my English texts for the exam tomorrow. I've reached the relaxed stage of things where I'm really not all that concerned about exams anymore. That could be problematic when Spanish roles around. I'll put in some effort though.

I'm supposed to be moving out of here on Saturday, but as of right now I have no one to come pick me up. My dad is on tour with our only car, so unless I can find someone else to come get me, I'm going to have a hell of a struggle bringing a computer, mini-fridge and all of my possessions on a Greyhound!

We're glad that you had fun. Jonah wants you to mention your ten-year old cousin as well, even though he barely said a word to you. I don't get the " huge openings" entry either but I assume someone else wrote it.

When are you coming home? Lets party! Did you send your mom anymore interesting items for her birthday?

Hello Suburban Aunt!

The huge openings one was writen by someone else. It's all lines from the play Hedwig and the Angry Inch. I'm coming home on April 20. I sent my mom a bopy of the vagina monologes a while ago, and I got her a card. I'm going to buy her some flowers or something when I get home. Or maybe I'll take her our to lunch. I'm not sure yet. Exam time has clouded my mind. I on'y have one more left though. And I should be studying for it right now!
