*Not talking about chests*
This has been an eventful weekend. Yes. Exciting and eventful. It started with a flat tire as Phantom turned into my driveway popping his back tire on the stone ridge of my front yard. This was followed by a game of beat the clock as we had twenty minutes to try to pump up the tire and drive the car over to Canadian Tire before the Autoshop closed. With three minutes left the tire hadn't inflated at all, so we drove over on the flat. It was the most vibratory drive of my life. We made it with thirty seconds to spare and the tire got fixed.
We then headed to Younge and Eglinton where we foolishly chose to eat at Lick's. Phantom had never been there, and decidedly will never go there again. The food was absolutely disgusting. And there was an overwhelming feeling that we had fallen into the seventh circle of hell as the bright yellow walls and smiley faces seemed to grin sinisterly at us to the soundtrack of loud crappy fifities bubblegum pop.
After that we consoled ourselves with a trip to Ed's Records, where Phantom made some purchases as we listened to the soothing sounds of Coldplay. The rest of the night was enjoyable as we played some spirited games of Jeopardy on my computer. It was an interesting start to the weekend.
