I'm in the midst of my week of hell and the amount of naps has increased substantially. Today I fell asleep in an armchair in front of the WRC in the student centre and proceeded to nap uninterruptedly for an hour. An HOUR!

I have a midterm tomorrow that i have to read over a hundred and fifty various pages for, and it's ten to nine. I plan to get enough sleep so that i can work on it a bit in the morning too. The real problem is that I had an exam today, so my brain is already fried, and after my exam tomorrow I have to start preparing for my thursday exam. It's a big pile of not good.

Speaking of big piles, today campus smelled like manure and homeless people. I'm not sure who captured the scent of homelessness so accurately (as I don't think there are any homeless Gueljivers), but the air was a perfect mix of cow dung, urine, alcohol and cigarettes. Magical.

Hey, you wanna maybe stop falling asleep in public places? Someone could come along and put an earwig on you. It would then wig its way into your ear. Nobody wants that.

True, but it's kind of a baffling rush to walk around and see all these sleeping people in public and knowing they're not homeless, they're just tired. And also the unbelievable trust! Anyone could up and rob while I'm dreaming, and I just trust it won't happen. Does this happen on all campuses? Or is this a Gueljiver thang?

Actually I sacked out in Vari Hall more than once when I was at York - it's a huge-ass rotunda that thousands of people trek through every day. And there was a couches area in the film building that proved to be quite the nap-zone for me and my brethren. And then there were all the times I just took a nap in the corner of a screening room. So.................... I'll shut up.
